The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim - Speed up the 'wait' timer PS3 and Xbox

Tricks and Tips That You Need To Know:

We all know how annoying it is when you're trying to get a certain thing from a vendor, say, iron ingots for smithing, special ingredients for an alchemy potion etc. and then comes the unavoidable 'wait' timer, it is agonizingly slow and so I think that everyone should know the trick that speeds up the timer for both waiting and sleeping.

PS3: To speed up the timer on the PlayStation 3 console, press the select button, and select the amount of time you would like to sleep/wait, then press and hold the X button down, immediately after which, press the 'home' button to get to the XMB (cross media bar) all the while holding the X button, when the timer for sleeping/waiting starts to countdown, press the home button again to come back out of the XMB menu and as long as you have held the X button throughout, the timer will count down at a much faster speed and once the counter has finished, if you continue to hold down the X button, the game itself will stay at an increased speed.

Xbox: Press the back button to get the timer up to wait, then hold down 'A' after selecting the time that you wish to wait, immediately after pressing and holding 'A' press the home button, whilst on the home menu, the countdown timer should count down at several times the normal speed, the way you can confirm this is by turning your volume up and listening for the clicks of the timer as it counts down, each click represents one hour on the timer.
